Even if a series is popular, there are always a few characters that get on the nerves of the audience terribly. These heroes are particularly hated.
They make illogical decisions, are terribly arrogant or simply have an obnoxious personality in general. All of these characteristics apply not only to antagonists, but also to main characters. Why do dissatisfied viewers still watch all seasons of series in record time? This may be because hating and speaking about unpleasant characters can ultimately be fun.
These series figures are just unbearable
Anyone who has seen the recently released third season of the controversial Netflix drama "Dead girls don't lie" knows exactly how much you as an audience member can suffer from an annoying main character. The American online magazine BuzzFeed asked a bit more about which characters really drive the series fans to the heat . In the end, the survey results were once again less surprising.
So readers called some characters from well-known sitcoms, such as Leonard Hofstadter ("The Big Bang Theory") or Robin Scherbatsky ("How I Met Your Mother") . They base their hatred on the fact that both characters treat their friends and lovers terribly.
A few Netflix hits also met with criticism, as viewers are bothered by Archie Andrews ("Riverdale") and his uninteresting actions during the series as well as the arrogance of Sabrina Spellman ("Chilling Adventures of Sabrina").

Serena van der Woodsen ("Gossip Girl"), Jack Shephard ("Lost") and Elena Gilbert ("The Vampire Diaries") also made it onto the hate list. One of the most prominent candidates, however, is Daenerys Targaryen , who should have scared off the last Danny fans with her character development in the last season of "Game of Thrones".
