The director general of health announced Friday evening the death of a child under the age of ten who had contracted the virus. The causes of his death could nevertheless be "multiple", the young boy suffering from other pathologies.
In the past 24 hours, 554 additional victims have been identified in French hospitals. In total, taking into account the Ehpad where 4,599 victims are to be deplored, 13,197 people have lost their lives since the start of the epidemic.
