The number of victims of the Corona virus in Israel reached 101 on Saturday, after two other patients died at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital. One of the deceased is a relatively young woman, 53, who did not suffer from any background illness.

The patient, Mazal Dalal from Beit Shemesh, had been anesthetized and breathed for more than a week, and the hospital was told her condition was rapidly deteriorating. This is a rare case - both in terms of age of the deceased and in terms of being healthy before being infected with Corona.

The Dalal family said it was lucky to have a mother of nine children and a grandmother to four grandchildren. The late Mazal's husband told Israel Today: "She had pneumonia with her corona and her condition deteriorated on Christmas Eve and she was hospitalized. She was a righteous woman. We have an answer and we have established a house of Torah. Mazal was engaged in education and was a kindergarten teacher in Beit Shemesh. She raised generations of children and had great kindness. I was more sick than her, but my corona test was negative. We feel she took the disease from me and saved me. She had devotion. It's a big loss. "

The average age of the disease victims in Israel is about 80, and the vast majority of them suffer from background diseases that make them more vulnerable to the virus.

In the meantime, the condition of two respiratory patients who were severely ill in the respiratory intensive care unit in Hadassah Ein Kerem improved greatly and were transferred to the regular corona wards.
