The Last of Us 2 - Podcast gives reasons for the delay of the release
Naughty Dog vice president Neil Druckmann says the industry is still responding to the changes in the retail corona crisis and that no final decision has been made regarding the release of The Last of Us 2 .

"Regardless of whether we can send physical copies to people or not, the question is whether the Internet infrastructure is supported in all countries?"
Selling the game online is the most direct way to bypass the global delivery problems that are currently prevailing and give many players an opportunity to play the second part of the Last of Us series by Sony and Naughty Dog in time.

However, Druckmann does not want to accept the disadvantage of players without an adequate internet connection to load the game.
