(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 14 - The leather company of MacerataValentino Orlandi "has accepted the appeal of the institutions for the coronavirus emergency and has converted its factory from the production of bags to that of masks".
"For over two weeks, the company's collaborators - explains a note - have enthusiastically joined the idea of the Orlandi family, working to help the community in this difficult moment. The distribution of the masks made by Valentino Orlandi has already started and the donations have been numerous through the Italian Red Cross, Civil Protection, and other associations throughout the Italian territory. The masks are made of three layers of 100% non-woven polypropylene, the best material for making filter masks, a certified Standard 100 byOeko-Tex material that meets the requirements of the REACH regulation. The masks comply with article 16, paragraph 2, of Legislative Decree 17/03/2020 and therefore intended for the whole community ".
With this production, the company has also joined the supply chain project launched by the National Chamber of Italian Fashion, to encourage the production by Italian companies of masks and medical devices useful to deal with the emergency. Covid-19. (HANDLE).
