(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 16 - A total of 106,607 coronavirus patients in Italy, with an increase of 1,189 compared to yesterday, when the increase had been 1,127. The data was provided by the Civil Protection. The victims to date are instead 22,170, with an increase compared to yesterday of 525. 40,164 people have been healed, 2,072 more than yesterday. Intensive care hospitalizations are still falling. For the first time since March 20, patients in the wards have in fact fallen to under 3,000: to date they are in fact 2,936, 143 less than yesterday. Of these, 1,032 are in Lombardy, 42 fewer than yesterday. Of the 106,607 patients overall, 26,893 are hospitalized consintoma, 750 less than yesterday, and 76,778 are those in home isolation.
