The We Love Green festival in Paris, scheduled for June 6 and 7, was canceled on Thursday due to the health crisis linked to the pandemic and its organizers are meeting in 2021.

Lana Del Rey, Catherine Ringer and Lomepal were the headliners of this environmentally conscious event, which welcomed 80,000 festival-goers last year. The organizers thought of postponing until September before "going to the evidence ": "The health risks are still too great and uncertain for the safety of our festival-goers ".

Beyond the “ consequent financial difficulties ” caused by the cancellation, WLG recalls “ that it is decidedly urgent (...) to take care of the world, essential to preserve our resources and our biodiversity to protect the health of all in rethinking our lifestyles . " The tickets purchased remain valid for 2021 (June 5 and 6). " Otherwise you can also join the #billetsolidaire movement by donating your ticket to the festival, in support of culture, this will give us the strength to overcome this storm ", write the officials. Repayment terms will also be communicated shortly.

The major current music festivals have practically all given up for this summer, such as the Vieilles Charrues, Francofolies, Eurockéennes, Main Square, Hellfest, Lollapalooza or Solidays. Rock en Seine (August 29-September 1, 100,000 spectators last year) remains for the scheduled time. But closing the borders risks penalizing him for his headliners.
