Coronavirus: 107,699 are sick, 10 less than yesterday. New record healed in one day

The drop in patients continues: today there are 107,699 currently positive, 10 fewer than yesterday. It is the third day of consecutive drop in patients. The downward trend in ICU admissions continues. Over 25,000 victims in Italy (ANSA)


Daily data of the Civil Protection: the decline of coronavirus patients in Italy continues. Today, in fact, 107,699 are currently positive, 10 less than yesterday, when they had dropped by 528 units. It is the third day of consecutive drop in patients.  

Over 25,000 coronavirus victims in Italy . Today there are 25,085, an increase of 437 in 24 hours. Yesterday the increase had been 534. 

New record of healed by coronavirus in Italy in a single day: there are 54,543 in total, with 2,943 compared to yesterday, when the increase had been 2,723. 

The declining trend of coronavirus intensive care admissions continues. To date they are 2,384, 87 less than yesterday. Of these, 817 are in Lombardy, 34 fewer than yesterday. Of the 107,699 patients overall, 23,805 are hospitalized with symptoms, 329 fewer than yesterday and 81,510 are those in home isolation. 

The Technical Scientific Committee (CTS) for the coronavirus emergency today reiterated the line of caution and graduality with respect to the reopening of production activities in view of May 4 , according to what is learned from sources in the body. The president of the Higher Institute of Health (ISS) Silvio Brusaferro and other members of the CTS participated in the videoconference in which the coordinator of the task force for Phase 2 Vittorio Colao illustrated the indications for starting the restart.
