Coronavirus: Chamber canteen reopened

(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 22 - The House is working to reopen the restaurant and canteen, closed since the national lockdown came into force. The Quaestors of Montecitorio are at work to allow, for Members only, to eat meals already prepared in the canteen in the basement and in the restaurant on the main floor of Montecitorio, where the seats will be set up in a way to respect the prescribed distances. They will be able to enter it in turns, up to a maximum capacity: for this reason they have been marked on the floor of the waiting positions that mark the distance between staff, following a path "similar to that which exists for the canteens of hospitals and barracks" explains Deputy Chief Fontana ( Fi). The food will be administered in place instead on previously prepared trays: there will not be technically a table service.
