All customers who bought the  pizza snack  from Edeka and Rewe should not eat it and exchange it because of the recall from the supermarkets. 

Foreign matter of any kind, whether metal, broken glass, glass splinters, wood and plastic splinters can cause serious injuries in the mouth and throat and internal injuries or bleeding . So there is an acute health risk for customers. The purchase price will be refunded in full.

Food scandals: a look back at recalls in 2019

There was also another recall in March 2019 . Wood chips were contained in a hard cheese. The cheese was sold at Penny . There was an Aldi recall in July 2019. “Trader Joe's” fried onions contained pieces of metal in some packages. 

In October 2019, it turned out that listeria was repeatedly found in the sausage from the meat manufacturer "Wilke". In healthy people, the bacterium can cause flu-like symptoms. If you have a weak immune system or are pregnant, you can even die from it. So there was a recall . So far, three people have died of the sausage. "Wilke" has filed for bankruptcy.
