Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez could have the solution to get married and, at the same time, respect social distancing in times of coronavirus.

The coronavirus pandemic changed Jennifer Lopez's wedding plans , and now Alex Rodriguez seems to have a perfect solution for the ceremony to take place, while still respecting social distancing.

A few days ago, JLo celebrated the birthday of Ella, A-Rod's youngest daughter, with a large caravan of cars that came to congratulate the little girl. Precisely from that fun event, the idea that Rodriguez told Jimmy Fallon arose this Thursday during the broadcast of "The Tonight Show".

"We have to go with the flow now," Alex told the television presenter, who has been broadcasting his program from his home. "Everything is fluid, everything is on hiatus," said the former Yankees baseball player, who admitted that we simply have to see where the world is leading us.

"Obviously these are unprecedented times," the 44-year-old star continued. "And for us, we just want to make sure that safety comes first and that the little ones are in a good place," giving way to the topic of how the 12 years of their girl, Ella Rodriguez, were celebrated.

"It was great that we had a rive-through party, " referring to the fact that some of her friends stopped by their cars in front of her house to greet the birthday girl and sing "Happy Birthday," keeping their distance. "And then some said we might have a drive-through wedding . It would be cheaper!" He said with a great sense of humor.

In early April, during a video call that Jennifer Lopez had with Ellen DeGeneres, the 50-year-old singer said she really doesn't know what's going to happen now in terms of dates for her wedding.

"We are in a waiting pattern like the rest of the world. So, again, it is something that we will have to postpone and see in a few months how all this works," the artist explained.

Given the uncertain situation, Ellen recommended the "Diva from the Bronx" to have a "TikTok wedding", since the recent videos of Lopez and Rodriguez have become very popular on the video platform.

"It's something to think about," joked the celebrity. "I cannot make a commitment at this time," he added.

Last September, when things were still painting for JLo and A-Rod to get married sometime in 2020, Alex said during an interview on "Good Morning America" that he had no idea where the wedding would be. "I don't know what I'm wearing and I don't know when it will be. I'll just show up." And, as he explained, the person in charge of all the planning was his partner.

They also questioned him about who he thought would cry the most, he or Jennifer, to which he said that lately he is crying easily when his daughters do something important, "it's crazy. I think it's a dad thing. But I think we will both shed some tears" .

And finally he gave the juiciest hint, "I have a track for all of you. A wedding track. It will be a long flight." Interviewers tried to guess and mentioned Dubai. But Alex Rodriguez denied it.

About the wedding, Jennifer Lopez has not revealed much, however, the singer told ES Magazine , that the ceremony is something very important to her. "Marriage is important to both of us. We both come from traditional Latino families and we want that."

He also confessed that since he became engaged to the baseball player, he has given love more priority than work. At the moment, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are quarantining their luxury home in Miami. With them are, of course, the twins of JLo, Emme, and Max, as well as A-Rod's two babes, Ella and Tashi.
