Bridge collapse, Anas works temporary

(ANSA) - AULLA (MASSA CARRARA), APRIL 24 - Anas has started all activities for the construction of the temporary bridge over the Magra river, necessary to quickly restore washability along the SS330 in the Albiano Magra area (MassaCarrara), pending the reconstruction of the new default. Through framework agreements already concluded previously, Anas has already "identified the companies and companies that will be involved in the construction of the temporary bridge, without the need for specific tender procedures", is said in a note. The design solution involves the construction of a raised embankment with "Armco" type manholes for a length of about 100 meters, followed by a prefabricated steel bridge "Bailey" for about 150 meters in length. The authorization process is expected to start as early as next week.
   Once the project is completed and approved, the works will presumably begin by the month of May. The times for opening the temporary bridge to traffic are estimated at 180 days.
