(ANSA) - PALERMO, APRIL 24 - Turned into the investigation into the murder of Angela Maria Corona, the 48-year-old woman killed near Easter Monday whose body was found on April 16 in a cliff near the provincial road that connects Bagheria and Casteldaccia. The carabinieri arrested on suspicion of murder in moral and material competition. According to investigators coordinated by the prosecutor of Termini Imerese, the victim's granddaughter, 39-year-old MariaFrancesca Corona, had hired two non-EU immigrants, Guy Morel Diehi, a 23-year-old Ivorian, and ToumaniSoukouna, a 28-year-old Malian, to help her kill her aunt and to hide his body.
The woman would have been strangled and then stuffed into a sack thrown into the cliff. The granddaughter, who confessed, would have planned the murder because - according to what she claimed - she would have always been mistreated by her aunt despite caring for the grandfather, father of the victim.
