Coronavirus: from tax to income support and families in the April decree

Government working on a new package of tax measures, in the April decree, to help taxpayers in difficulty: according to what is being learned, there are both interventions on compensation and the hypothesis, still under consideration, of suspending foreclosures on salary and tax debts pensions. We also look at the increase of up to 1 million in the limit on tax credit offsets and on the suspension throughout 2020 of those between tax credits and folders.

 Stop the sending of assessment documents and folders until the end of September, extending the suspension now foreseen until 31 May by three months. This is, according to what is learned from majority sources, one of the hypotheses that are being worked on in view of the April decree, or, alternatively, as a modification to be introduced as an amendment to the business decree already being examined by Parliament. In recent days at the hearing, the director of the Revenue Agency Ernesto Maria Ruffini had spoken of 8.5 million notifications ready to take off without extensions.

"In the coming days, the interventions that we have already implemented as Government will add those of the April decree, with which we will not only renew the measures already envisaged in" Cura Italia "- from social safety nets to parental leave and babysitting vouchers for parents with children - but we will also protect other categories such as domestic workers and carers and introduce Emergency Income to give concrete help to all citizens in difficulty ". The Minister of Labor Nunzia Catalfo writes on Fb, recalling that "in this delicate phase" there was an "absolutely positive" synergy with "some of the main Italian companies". Catalfo recalls the agreement with Abi and social partners for the advance of the CIG by banks and the new agreement between Inps and Poste that will anticipate the Cig to BancoPosta and PostePay Evolution customers with requests to be made online. Lastly, the minister reminds that pensions can also be withdrawn in cash for this month starting from Monday 27 April.
