Earlier than expected: One day after the announcement of a return flight on the Vienna-Tel Aviv line, Hungarian airline Wise, one of Europe's largest low-cost airlines, announced on Saturday that it will start direct flights from Tel Aviv to London this Friday. Flights to London will be at Luton Airport and the Hungarian Lucoust is the first to operate flights on this line since the closure of the sky following the Corona.

British Airways is also expected to return direct flights on the Tel Aviv-London line, it will operate the line to the UK's largest airport, Heathrow as of June 1 according to the company's updated flight schedule.

Delta, Air Canada, Air Baltic and Alitalia have also announced that they will return to operate flights to Israel, some in June and some waiting for July. Currently, in Israel and many countries around the world there is no permit for tourists. Even in countries that allow tourists to enter their territory, visitors must enter isolation for 14 days. As the spread of the Corona around the world grows worse - we may soon see a change in tourism restrictions.

Meanwhile, Austrian Chancellor spoke with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu yesterday, along with other heads of state, including the Czech Republic, Denmark and New Zealand, with a view to opening a circle of states that would allow free passage between them without the need for isolation. This is a circle of countries that have been able to cope well with the spread of the virus.

It is possible that in the coming days, more airlines will announce the return of flights to Israel. El Al is also expected to return to partial activity soon.
