Festigel 2020 in danger? "Israel Today" has learned that the producers of the show are looking for an alternative to the huge Chanukah show, and its future in the format of the seller is questionable.

In previous years, at this stage of the year they were supposed to be already after the casting phase and at the rehearsals and preparations for the film before the show. Currently, no contracts with the Talents have been signed, and work on the show is stuck. The production is considering giving up the preliminary film, and are also looking for a crack at Digital, but even then they do not know if they can hold the show and in what way.

As we recall, the festival takes place every year in November in Haifa and continues until February in the big halls of Tel Aviv, Haifa and Beer Sheva. "Festigel is the most expensive show in huge halls, and no one can guarantee its existence in the familiar format," says one involved. "Thousands of crowds in November are in doubt, and will have to find solutions to incorporate a new character into the show, or a lucrative economic model."

This year, the production was set to mark 40 years for the show and planned a specially invested production, but nature has its own rules, and it will be interesting to see how the issue is resolved.
