Corona epidemic in Israel: 68 more people have been infected with respiratory virus, according to the Ministry of Health data released this morning (Monday). The number of confirmed patients now stands at 15,466, compared to 15,443 yesterday. Also, since yesterday there has been a slight decrease of three people in the number of people who are now 96 people.   

The number of corona victims stands at about 202 in the morning. This morning, it was released to the public that the senior nurse at Sheba who died as a result of the infection is Susie Levy (66) who has spent over 40 years in the medical system. The late Levi is the first victim of the medical team to have died of the disease and the 200th victim in Israel. Two weeks ago, Korona's 71-year-old sister died at Fouria Hospital. She is believed to have not been infected by her sister, and an in-hospital investigation also found that she was not infected by a patient. Levi left behind a husband, two sons, and three sisters, another of whom died about two years ago. 

"The family is in pain and overwhelmed by the untimely passing of Susie who was the mainstay of the family," said her family. "Mother insisted on continuing to work even though she had to retire, which is what characterizes the endless giving and caring she had until her last day.
