The 10 million workers, reaching precisely 9.9 million, are the workers who are awaiting contract renewal at the end of March. This is 80.4% of the total, so the contract expired for eight out of ten employees. Istat notes this, explaining that 51 national collective agreements are waiting to be renewed. In force for the economic part, 22 remain, corresponding to 19.6% of employees (approximately 2.4 million).
