In the midst of the wave of home prisons in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, with the passing of days, really outrageous cases were known, which ultimately were those that ended up causing the strong pan that occurred on Thursday in the main cities of the country.

One of these cases occurred in the province of Neuquén, in the town of Junín de Los Andes. There, the Appeal Court, made up of judges Liliana Deiub, Federico Sommer and Richard Trincheri, granted Eugenio Llul a house arrest, a former military man who in 2016 was sentenced to 12 years in prison for having violated his granddaughter , who while the abuse lasted was between 7 and 11 years old.

One of the judges of that court defended the decision on Friday, arguing that the objective of the ruling was to preserve the health system of the Rio Negro town.

"She is fair and I have a clear conscience ," said Richard Trincheri during an interview on La Red radio .

"This decision was made looking at the state of the health system of Junín de los Andes and the entire population. This is something exceptional, it is not something that was arranged forever," he explained when asked if they had taken into account the emotional state. of the victim.

Even the magistrate went further and gave details of the family plot of the liberated man: “Sometimes you have to know everything. In that same family, this man has other children and in turn has other grandchildren ... And those people are in total opposition to the woman they have seen (because of the mother of the abused girl).

According to Trincheri's reasoning, the residence was not only a benefit for the ex-military but "for the 33 people who were detained, for the prison guards, the doctors, the nurses and for the entire community of Junín de los Andes."

"Junín de los Andes has 15 thousand inhabitants and a single public hospital with a capacity for 26 people. The prison has a capacity for 10 people and there were 33. How long would it take for the virus to spread if one of the inmates was infected?" .

As if that were not enough, Trincheri revealed that the socioenvironmental report of the Penitentiary Service advised against monitoring the movements of the rapist with an electronic bracelet, therefore, an electronic bracelet was not placed on him.

"The decision is fair. We are not the last criminal court in Neuquén, there is one above. And the resolution was not even contested by the prosecutor, who is the victim's lawyer. What do you want me to say? a fair resolution, " Trincheri closed.
