(ANSA) - PIACENZA, 01 MAY - A 66-year-old man was arrested by the Carabinieri of Fiorenzuola (Piacenza) for attempted murder and illegal possession of a weapon. The military intervened at his home in the municipality of Alseno where, at the height of a dispute with his wife, he would have pulled out a gun and fired a shot. Fortunately, the woman was not injured and managed to escape. The carabinieri blocked him and seized the semi-automatic pistol, with a regular Maclandestine serial number (i.e. not registered) which has now been sent to Risdi Parma for further investigations. The man, with previous penalties, is instead in the Piacenza prison of Novate south facing of the prosecutor Matteo Centini. The motive is still being investigated by investigators.
