Frankfurt - The current corona crisis is often a real challenge , especially for workers in hospitals and medical facilities . Numerous doctors , nurses and the like are doing hard work to keep the virus at bay in Germany . In order to make the current situation easier for some of them, at least outside of work, the discounter Aldi Süd has come up with a special idea.

This was implemented in the Uni-Klinik Frankfurt , as reported by chip.de. They wanted to make it easier for the staff to work after work when they might have to go shopping late and not get much, because others may have already made hamster purchases that day. So that the employees of the clinic no longer have to worry about this in the future, Aldi Süd decided to create a small supermarket with almost 900 products on the site .
The new “branch” was set up in the cafeteria of the Uni-Klinik Frankfurt . Within four days, the premises were converted and shelves for the products were installed. Now the employees of the clinic can still buy groceries and drugstore products without having to go far and do not even have to leave the premises. Purchasing still works like in other branches: For example, only a limited number of customers can go to the supermarket at the same time and the checkouts are protected with plexiglass.
