The miracle of San Gennaro has repeated itself. This was announced at 7:04 pm by the archbishop of Naples, Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe. "A sign of predilection and benevolence of the coronavirus over time for our Campania and for the whole of Italy" said Sepe in an unusually deserted Duomo because of the risk of contagion that imposed the performance of the ritual behind closed doors, explaining that at the moment the blood of the patron of Naples was already dissolved when the safe was opened. The mayor, Luigi de Magistris was also present at the ceremony.
At the end of the celebration of the mass, and before placing the casket of blood in the safe of the chapel, Cardinal Sepe wanted to bless the city of Naples from the churchyard of the cathedral. Next to the prelate is the mayor of Magistris, who is the president of the Deputation of San Gennaro.
