(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 3 - China allegedly "deliberately hidden or destroyed evidence of the coronavirus epidemic" in the first phase of the epidemic, "an 'attack on international transparency' which cost tens of thousands of human lives" and which has endangered others countries. This is stated by a report drawn up by the Five Eyes intelligence alliance between Western Anglo-Saxon countries (United States, Great Britain, Canada, Australia, New Zealand), writes the Australian newspaper Daily Telegraph, which says it is in possession of it. The document, writes the newspaper, lists the 'obstacles' that Beijing would have posed, before completely reversing the route on January 20: hidden or destroyed, initially denied human-to-human transmissibility, silenced or even "made to disappear" doctors who they wanted to warn of the real danger, denied foreign agliscient virus samples that requested it and, finally, blocked the access of international organizations to the Wuhan province-epicenter.
