After almost 50 days of confinement, and a week before the start of deconfinement, France counts 306 new deaths in 24 hours due to Covid-19, announced on Monday Olivier Véran, the Minister of Solidarity and Health, after the Senate voted against the government's deconfinement plan. Since the start of the epidemic, 25,201 people have died in the country from the coronavirus.
Currently, 25,548 patients remain hospitalized in the country to date due to SARS-CoV-2 infection. This represents a decrease of 267 beds occupied in 24 hours despite the admission of 699 new patients.
