The number of Telegram channels seized by the Bari Public Prosecutor's Office has risen to 114, accused of illicitly distributing tens of thousands of pirated copies of newspapers, magazines and books. The emergency kidnapping ordered on 27 April by the Bari prosecutor Roberto Rossi and carried out by the Guardia di Finanza initially against 20 channels, paved the way for daily monitoring of the instant messenger application. To date, the existence, with consequent closure, of 114 channels has been ascertained.
    In some cases it would be the same already blocked and then reopened with different names but with the same pirated contents.
