Cady Groves , singer and songwriter, passed away at the age of 30.

It was the artist's own brother, Cody Groves , who last weekend confirmed the sad news of his death. After announcing that the interpreter of "This Little Girl" had died, Cody returned to social networks to pay tribute to the girl and to prevent any rumors about what happened from spreading.

"I hate having to do this, but apparently the world and the internet are full of misinformation," Cody wrote in his message. "In my original post I had stated that we had no information to try to avoid it, but to keep the rumors away, I will provide an update. The coroner has completed the autopsy and there was no indication of foul play or self-harm. Quite simply, Cady Groves died of causes. natural ".

In her writing, the brother of the singer-songwriter originally from Marlow, Oklahoma, tried to give details about what might have happened to Cady.

"She had some medical problems last fall, and our best guess at this point, until testing is complete, is that they resurfaced," he explained.

Groves asked people to respect the name of Cady and his family before sharing information that was provided by himself.

In his message, he also commented that he was already on his way to Nashville, where his sister lived.

Before his death, Cady Groves was preparing to release a new album, Cody himself explained. "Our last deep conversation (since many were clever jokes) was about her sending me songs for me to criticize and give her my feedback," said the grieving man.

A couple of weeks ago, Cady shared on her Instagram account some small clips that she took from her home, where she was confined in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic.

"And now ... a short film about what has been the 967th day of quarantine for me," he wrote with a good sense of humor, on April 23. In his post, Groves said that he already missed his fans, but he was happy, and said that he had been listening to Britney Spears' album Baby One More Time in full.

According to Spin magazine , which also confirmed Cady's death, the Groves family had previously lost Cady's two brothers, Casey and Kelly, who died in 2007 and 2014, respectively.

At the end of March, Cady remembered precisely her brother Kelly, with an emotional photo. "This starts to feel redundant right now, but, damn it, Kel, you were so cool. And losing you 6 years ago killed me in so many ways. And so I made that a reason to live."

For Groves, despite the time, her brother had always been present, and in those days, the connection between them became even stronger, as she described herself.

"And I have dreamed of you every day for the past week and at one point I felt your presence so much that I woke up at 4am and shyly said" Kelly "... and then it all got cold in the room and I felt a breeze come over me But I wasn't afraid. Because it was the closest I felt to my best friend in a long time. I love you, big brother. Today, 6 years ago, you really broke my heart at the right time. Thanks for all the laughter. " , expressed the artist, who today rests in peace.
