The MET Gala is one of the most important events in the fashion and entertainment industry, and traditionally takes place on the first Monday in May, but in 2020, due to the worldwide outbreak of coronavirus, it had to be postponed ( although until now it is not known when it could be reprogrammed).
This year's edition would be very special, as it celebrates the 150th anniversary of the MET, and as many people were already looking forward to seeing the outfits that celebrities had prepared for their appearance in New York, the MET Gala will take place, but through social networks.
While under the hashtag #METGalaChallenge dozens of people have been given the task of recreating their favorite outfits throughout the history of this red carpet, celebrities are using their social profiles today to relive their best memories of the event.
Kendall Jenner , for example, released a mini photo album featuring her 2019 outfit: a vibrant orange design with crystals and feathers, created by Versace.
