In the era of social distancing, the tools that encourage interaction between people and remote entertainment take on more value. Gianluca Vatore, CEO of Studio Vatore, the software house that launches UpPlay TV , the app that makes people protagonists of their favorite TV program, knows it well . The user can download it for free (on the App Store and Google Play), connect to his favorite quiz and try to answer questions in real time, as if he were in the competitor's place.

"How many times from home did we all find ourselves shouting the solution or ranting against the poor competitor on duty who did not know an obvious answer for us? UpPlay tv is a solution to be able to quit the spectator's clothes and interact with the television program", explains Gianluca. The first format on the app is 'Versus', a quiz that puts players from the world of television, influencers and youtubers in competition. Every Tuesday and Friday they enter a virtual arena, a two-on-one challenge and, together with their followers, they create an experimentation of entertainment halfway between TV and the web. App users can answer the same multiple choice questions in real time, accumulating a score. Those who manage to finish first after five episodes will have the opportunity to challenge their favorite to 'Versus'. Among the first protagonists the envoys of Striscia La Notizia Moreno Morello and Fabrizio Fontana (aka Capitan Ventosa), Bruno Galasso of Casa Surace, the influencer Paola Torrente, the youtuber Giovanni Fois and the food creator Vincenzo Falcone and other faces of the TV of the the ex gieffino and DJ Tommy Vee and the dancer of Amici Daniele Morelli.

UpPlay TV aims to bring young people closer to a type of program that does not fit their tastes today: "The smartphone has already proven to be a useful tool to repopulate the TV of a young audience and yet the solutions currently available on the market are still missing the element of sharing and interactivity they are looking for ", continues Gianluca. The interactive format travels in parallel with a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe, 'Versus Vs Covind- 19' in favor of Civil Protection, to support those who fight together with doctors and health professionals in this difficult battle.
