(ANSA) - GENOA, MAY 05 - "Join us", the campaign launched by Conad Nord Ovest to support the fight against alcoronavirus, in just under a month, has collected 853,500 euros from over 245,000 customers. This figure adds up to the amount of 1.5 million euros allocated immediately by the cooperative, the partners and Conad collaborators. The total amount reached is 2.4 million euros which will be entirely donated to 42 hospitals.
In Liguria, the amount collected is equal to 247,300 euros and is intended to support the activity of 4 reference hospitals: San Martino Hospital of Genoa, Sanremo Hospital, Civile Sant'Andrea Hospital of La Spezia and San Paolo di Savona Hospital.
Specifically, the funds will be used to purchase what is deemed necessary in hospital structures, including personal protective equipment for doctors and nurses, sanitization and sanitation products, as well as equipment to deal with the health emergency. (HANDLE).
