(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 05 - "I am sure that a clarification will take place quickly and the ruling will have no practical consequence" allowing the Bundesbank to continue participating in the Qe. Economy Minister Roberto Gualtieri said so, commenting on the ruling of the Constitutional Court of Germany during a hearing in the Senate Finance and Budget meeting committees. According to Gualtieri, the judges' remarks "concern procedural aspects", moreover "have reiterated the full legitimacy" of the PSPP and "in no way concern" the new Pepp.
Gualtieri also stressed that "the ruling" of the German Court "does not in any way concern the monetary policy measures taken by the ECB to deal with the Covid emergency, including the Peep program and how it will be implemented". (HANDLE).
