Unicredit donates 500 thousand euros to Piedmont

(ANSA) - MILAN, 05 MAY - UniCredit continues to expand its commitment to support Italy in managing the emergency linked to the epidemiological spread of the COVID-19 virus. The bank has decided to advance a donation of 500 thousand euros, the result of the funds that will be collected during the year through the UniCredit Card Flexia Classic Etica *, in the Piedmont region, to support it in managing the emergency-related difficulties.
    UniCredit is present in Piedmont with approximately 240 branches and approximately 3000 employees and has been treasurer of the Region for more than 13 years. Thanks to the funds raised through UniCredit Card FlexiaClassic Etica has already donated to the local facilities of the CroceRossa of Turin and Cuneo, funds for an amount of over 35 milaeuro for the purchase of masks, health material and medical devices to deal with the Coronavirus emergency.
