Merkel towards yes to Bundesliga, Neuer: 'Now responsible'

 "The eyes of the world, and not only those of football, on Angela Merkel": this is how Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung headlines the awaited decision of the German Chancellor who today announces which reopenings are scheduled for the lockdown phase, including the Bundesliga. The yes to the resumption of the football championship, from May 15 or at most from the following week, is expected by all the German media, and also by a document of agreement between the central government and Laender referred to by the France Press; would be the consequence of yes to the restart of the championship given last week by the ministers of sport of the 16 regions. "Now for us footballers the era of a new responsibility arrives", is the appeal always launched by the columns of the Faz by Manuel Neuer, Bayern goalkeeper and captain of the German national team.
