As announced on Thursday, May 7, Christophe Castaner, any trip beyond 100 km (as the crow flies) will be prohibited from May 11, except in the case of "compelling reason" for the trip, whether family or professional. The Minister of the Interior cited, as an example, the loss of a loved one or the case of truck drivers.
This notion of "compelling reason" is rather vague and no list has so far been drawn up by the authorities. Contacted by Le Parisien Thursday, April 30, the national police replied that, for the family aspect, "travel the necessity of which cannot be questioned (injuries of a loved one, support for a vulnerable person or not independent, health, death, house in danger ...) ".
Inventory canceled during confinement
Regarding the inventory, many had to be canceled during confinement, like that of Denis. "We don't recommend it except in emergency situations and on a case-by-case basis," Sonia Hamidi, a lawyer with Century 21, explained to us at the end of April.
If you can justify that realizing it now is a necessity which "cannot be called into question", in other words that you have no choice and that it is impossible for you to postpone it again for practical reasons , this could be accepted. Everything will remain at the discretion of the police on the ground in the event of control.
