(ANSA) - REGGIO EMILIA, 08 MAY - Plexiglass barriers for desk and reception, gel holders, masks, evisiere gloves. The Monkeydu company from Reggio Emilia, which has been operating in trade fair and shop furnishings for twenty years, has temporarily converted its production. During this period of business stop due to the Coronavirus epidemic, it will design solutions and devices to secure the commercial activities that are facing the reopening after the lockdown. The project is called 'Monkeycare' and will also have a beneficial purpose: part of the turnover will in fact be donated to the Grade Onlus foundation for the purchase of equipment for the intensive care unit of the Santa Maria Nuova hospital in Reggio Emilia.
"Comparing ourselves with our main customers - explains LisaTorreggiani, founding partner and president of Monkeydu - we understood that they needed our contribution to make their collaborators insecure, to continue working or to plan the reopening. So we immediately got to work, seizing even a market opportunity at a time when our business had come to a halt. " (HANDLE).
