In the face of telework, three out of four Italian employees (73%) have not yet received specific guidance or training on cybersecurity to protect themselves from risks. To say it is the latest report of the cybersecurity company Kaspersky, based on a survey that involved 6 thousand workers on a global scale, of which 550 in Italy.
According to the survey, almost a quarter (24)% of Italian employees said they had already received Covid-19-themed phishing emails. Accidental downloading of malicious content from this type of email - experts say - can lead to infection of the devices and even to the compromise of company data.
Also according to the survey, many employees said they had increased the use of online services not approved by the IT departments of their companies, such as video conferencing apps (35%), for instant messaging (39%) or for archiving files (35%).
