(ANSA) - PARIS, MAY 9 - The French Parliament has definitively adopted the text of the law tonight extending the emergency of health until July 10 in the country, to counter the coronavirus epidemic. To conclude the procedure, a final vote of the Assemblée Nationale. The Senate, with a right-wing majority, had given its approval shortly before, after a compromise in the commission of the deputies and senators on the government text.
The president, Emmanuel Macron, has already announced that he will run to the Constitutional Council for a control of the law, while the oppositions say they are concerned about the restriction of public freedoms.
