(ANSA) - BERLIN, MAY 10 - The spread of coronavirus in Germany could register a flashback: the official data released today by the Koch Institute indicate that the RO index - which measures the contagion capacity - has risen to 1.1, this it means that a positive person to the covid-19 necontagia on average 1,1. Only last Wednesday the RO in Germany had settled at 0.65, prompting the chancellor Angela Merkel to say that the country had left 'phase one' behind. In recent days, new outbreaks have occurred in Germany, especially in some slaughterhouses and residences for the elderly. Nevertheless, some Land states have announced a relaxation of the restrictions, therefore a large part of the shops and playgrounds while in various German cities thousands of people have taken to the streets to protest against the confinement measures still in force.
