(ANSA) - SASSARI, MAY 12 - A 16-year-old Tunisian national, guest of a reception center for asylum seekers in LaMaddalena, was arrested by the local carabinieri with the support of the mobile radio operating unit of the territorial department of Olbia. He is accused of raping a 40-year-old local woman who was jogging in an isolated area just outside the town. The young man, who was serving a prison sentence in the center, identified his victim, joined her and attacked him from behind. The screams of the woman, who tried to escape the violence with all her might, aroused the attention of two people who were doing physical activity a little further and they immediately alerted 112. The trauma suffered caused the victim a serious shock gauge. Hearing the screams of the first responders, the young man ran away and hid in an impervious area. He was hunted until the early hours of the morning, when he was arrested and transferred to Sassari.
