In the new agreement with the Arcuri Emergency Commissioner, the distributors' associations have committed themselves to supplying pharmacies with a supply of 9 million masks in May starting next Monday and 20 million masks per week starting since June. The commissioner undertook to continue to supplement pharmacy supplies with 10 million masks in May, starting on Thursday 14 May.
"The clarity of the agreement this morning in which everyone, responsibly, made the commitments that we owed, allows us to contribute to the solution of another of the most important issues of phase 2 of the emergency" commented Arcuri, regarding the agreement with the associations of distributors, pharmacies (Federfarma and Assofarm) and parapharmacies, on the distribution and sale of masks at a discounted price of 50 cents plus VAT.
