On the third day of deconfinement in France, the general direction of health drew up the last assessment of the epidemic in France.

These figures question, however, while the number of patients who died in nursing homes rose to 9,988 on Tuesday. Contacted by Le Parisien, the Directorate General of Health confirms an error in the figures communicated this Wednesday evening, linked to a "catch-up" in recent days carried out by Santé publique France.

2,428 patients in intensive care

On the resuscitation front, the DGS announces 69 new patients admitted to these specialized services in the last 24 hours. The patient balance, which takes discharges into account, remains negative, in line with the trend observed in recent weeks, with 114 patients less in the past 24 hours. 2,428 patients remain in care - still according to the DGS - in the intensive care units.

However, these resuscitations represent only a minority of patients in the hospital. 21,071 patients are still hospitalized for covid-19 contamination. 543 new admissions have been recorded in the past 24 hours.
