Matt Damon told how his family is in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic, which forced them to remain in confinement in distant Ireland, since the actor was there, filming a movie, when the health authorities decreed that the non-essential activities as well as travel.
One of the revelations the 49-year-old artist made was that his oldest daughter contracted the virus, but fortunately she has already recovered.
It was during Spin 1083's "Fully Charged with Graham & Nathan" radio show that Damon talked about the quarantine he keeps with his loved ones in the town of Dalkey.
The protagonist of "Ford v. Ferrari" is enjoying Irish life with his wife, Luciana, and with three of his daughters — Stella, 9, Gia, 11, and Isabella, 13 — while Alexia Barroso , 21 (daughter of Luciana, product of a previous relationship), is in New York, where she studies.
According to Matt, the girl coped with and coped well with the illness.
"He had COVID at the beginning of everything, along with his roommates," said the actor. "We will return to Los Angeles and she [Alexia] will leave there, so we will all be together and we will find out what the hell we are going to do. It is a strange limbo where we are all."

Matt Damon said in the talk that, although everyone is well, he knows that, both for Luciana's mother and for her own mother, the current situation generates fear.
"Everyone is in confinement and maintaining social distance and washing their hands and everything they can do to mitigate this. But it is terrifying, for our parents, without a doubt," he said.
On the other hand, in a more relaxed tone, the Hollywood star said that he and his wife have not had to face, like many other parents, the great challenge of homeschooling , because they already had teachers with them, since they learned that the children would have to be away from home for eight weeks.
"We feel guilty," Damon admitted. "We have an amazing set-up of things in this place."

On the radio show, Damon also spoke about his 2011 film "Contagion," which predicted what could happen if any major outbreak occurred in the world.
"The whole thing is tragic and sad," he said. "I hope something good can come of it. Luckily, it's not as deadly as it could have been, so maybe this was a very good dry race for what might come, because these things come every few decades, so it's better to be prepared for it. "
At the end of the interview, the hosts of the show surprised a fan of the actor who works in the front line of the fight against the coronavirus, and through a video call, Damon thanked him for everything she has done during the pandemic.
"Thank you so much for what you are doing, Anaise," Matt told the nurse. "This has been horrible for everyone, but if there is a nice side, it is that, hopefully, people will finally understand how wonderful the front-line workers are."
