The brown color is associated with all things of nature: earth, soil, wood and the seasons of autumn and winter. Brown is the color of the hearth and the home and symbolizes stability, reliability, honesty and comfort. A natural color is perceived as solid, warm but it can also - especially in comparison with other colors - appear dark and boring. In the arts, it is a composite color made by combining red, yellow and blue (or red, yellow and black).
