(ANSA) - NEW DELHI, MAY 18 - According to the data released today by the Indian Ministry of Health, cases of contagion from coronaviruses in the country have risen to 96,169: the deaths are now 3,029. In the past 24 hours, the country has again seen the highest increase recorded so far, with 5,242 new infections. With a decision announced yesterday, the largest lockdown in the world, in force since March 24, was confirmed until May 31, with significant easing of restrictions.
