(ANSA) - VENICE, MAY 17 - Veneto has reopened almost today, but cities still do not seem 'free' from fear of new infections. The mask, reiterated in the latest ordinance, remains mandatory outside the home, no longer gloves, replaced by gel at hand. All shops, hairdressers, bars and restaurants reopen: the Veneto led the group of Regionics, with the guidelines they have obtained to lower the distance between the tables to one meter. Today, however, very few customers sat at the bars for the first outdoor cafe after 90 days. Rare patrons in Piazza delle Erbe in Verona, even less in Piazza Bra. Venice suffers from the absence of tourists: the first jewelers in Piazza San Marco reopen, but historic cafés such as Florian and Quadri remain closed. On the water it returns to review the gondolas of the ferries, not yet those of the romantic rides in the canals. Meanwhile, the beaches reopen: the mother and daughter of Zoldo, loyal customers of the riverside center, opened the season in Jesolo.
