'Il bourgeois Pellegrino' by Malvaldi arrives

(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 20 - The Sellerio publishing house restarts, after the lockdown, with strong and highly anticipated titles. Among the first announcements is the release of Marco Malvaldi's 'Il borghese Pellegrino', which will be in bookstores on June 18.

    After the extraordinary success of 'Odore di Closed', with 200,000 copies sold and of which cinematographic rights have already been sold, Malvaldi in 'Il borghese Pellegrino' pays homage again to Pellegrino Artusi with a perfect "enigma of the closed room" and with this novel celebrates the centenary of the birth of the great gastronomist, considered by some to be the true proponent of the unification of Italy, at least ancestral.
