Former WWE professional wrestler and actor Shad Gaspard was found dead in Venice Beach; This Wednesday E! News confirmed the news.
The Los Angeles Police Department also reported that a person with the same physical characteristics as the athlete was found dead on the shore of the beach.

According to the AP , Gaspard's 10-year-old son Aryeh was rescued and other swimmers were able to get out of the water to get to safety after they were caught by a current on Sunday afternoon.
"The last time the lifeguard saw him, a wave passed over Mr. Shad Gaspard and dragged him out to sea," Los Angeles police said in a statement released Monday.
His wife Siliana Gaspard released a statement Tuesday, thanking the police and the wrestler's fans.
"We want to express our gratitude to the rescuers who saved Aryeh and to the lifeguards, coastguards, divers and to the fire and police departments for their continued efforts to help find our beloved Shad," the woman said in the statement.
He added: "Shad is a fighter, a warrior and a magical soul. We pray and hope that he returns safe and sound. As a family we thank you all for your concern and good wishes. Please continue to send your positive messages and prayers to our beloved Shad. ”

After his retirement from WWE in 2010, Gaspard has had small roles in television and movies, including the comedy with Kevin Hart, "Get Hard."
