First case of isolation from a 7-week-old infant from SarsCov-2. The nasopharyngeal sample of the infant, hospitalized, arrived at the laboratory on February 26th. This shows that "the circulation of the new virus in the pediatric population took place even before the epidemic recognized in the city" and supports the hypothesis that "the circulation of the virus in children is often unrecognized". The isolation was carried out at the University of Parma and the data is published in the 'International journal of infectious diseases'.
