"On May 25, I will initiate a concertation with the actors of the health system so that they can share their vision of the health system, what must be improved, what must be preserved," declared the minister. "We will go quickly. By mid-July at the latest, we will draw the conclusions of these consultations with professionals to provide adjusted responses (and) build a stronger and more resilient system, ”he adds.
It is the former secretary general of the CFDT, Nicole Notat, who will be responsible for steering the consultation. She "will herself be surrounded by experts," said Olivier Véran, thanking "warmly" the former union official for her "support".

The Minister of Health also assured that the reform "will involve an increase in hospital salaries". "Improving the value of all careers and all trades will mean increasing wages in hospitals and nursing homes".
