Sia was surprised to reveal in an interview with SiriusXM radio station "The Morning Mash Up," that she became the mother of two children. During the show, the singer announced that it was during the past year that she adopted two 18-year-old teens.
The "Cheap Thrills" interpreter mentioned that she made the decision to legally make them members of her family because she knew that the youth were "getting older" within the foster care system.
"I adopted my two children last year. They were both 18, now 19," the celebrity revealed in the virtual conversation. "They no longer had the right to be part of the foster care system. I love them very much," said the 44-year-old artist.

The family is quarantining as best they can with the support of their new mother, however, it has not been easy. "Both find it quite difficult, one more than the other," shared the singer.
"But they are both doing things that are really good for them right now, that are really useful. They are really doing a lot of educational things that are good for them," he said.
The news of becoming a mother comes almost a year after the pop star offered to adopt a 16-year-old boy named Dasani , who was part of the HBO documentary "Foster."

She stated in May last year in a tweet , which was later removed, her desire to adopt the teenager who appeared in the production.
The documentary deals with the juvenile reception system in Los Angeles and shows some of the most overwhelming cases that social workers encounter during their day to day.
"Hello Dasani from 'Foster' on HBO ! I would like to adopt you. We are just trying to find you and check my house, etc. But I want you to do it, I know you will have a home with me," he wrote back then.

In 2016, Sia signed the divorce with filmmaker Erik Anders Lang after two years of marriage. After her breakup, the famous decided to focus on other aspects outside the sentimental, and even went so far as to say that she had made the decision to remain single forever.
It's unclear if the teenager is one of two children Sia adopted, at the time the Australian said in a GQ interview in January that she had adopted a son. "I have decided to stay single for the rest of my days and just adopted a child."
