Sustainable development: ASviS, here is the future to come

 "Orienting choices, designing the future". This is the title of the opening event of the "ASviS Live: three steps towards the 2020 Sustainable Development Festival" initiative: three events streamed as an approach to the event, rescheduled from 22 September to 8 October in cause of the health emergency. The meetings were designed with the aim of reflecting together on the country's relaunch towards a sustainable future and stimulating the debate on policies to change the development model in the direction indicated by the 2030 Agenda. Today the first meeting he attended by the executive vice president of the European Commission Franz Timmermans, the Minister for Equal Opportunities̀ and the Elena Bonetti Family, the Mayor of Milan Giuseppe Sala, the author and scientific popularizer Piero Angela. During the meeting, the new "FUTURA network" site will also be presented, a platform created by ASviS to stimulate reflection and debate on possible futures starting from the themes proposed by current affairs.

On May 28th at 3:30 pm it will also be the turn of "Towards a transformative recovery under the banner of resilience and sustainability" on the urgency of a path of transformation towards economic, social and environmental sustainability.
The afternoon of June 4th at the same time will be the vote on "Environment, health and sustainable society: discovering the connections" on the interactions between natural and man-made environments and their respective vulnerabilities. To celebrate World Environment Day, the event will host the connection with the Living Chapel, an installation created in the Botanical Garden of Rome. (HANDLE).

    The three ASviSlive events are streamed on the festivalsvilupposostenibile.it and asvis.it websites, on the Facebook page, on the Youtube channel and on the Ansa.it and ANSA2030 websites, and on the ilsole24ore.com website.
